Superheroes possess extraordinary superpowers. You may think that these powers are science fiction, but many of them could be being science fact. Scientists around the world are working on a vast range of topics that can lead to the knowhow and technologies to replicate some aspects of these superpowers. However, scientists don’t want to create superpowers – instead they want to use their research work for the benefit of society. In Secrets of Superhero Science with The Superhero Scientist (Dr. Barry Fitzgerald) you’ll learn about advancements in materials and genetic engineering, in addition to hearing about electronics and the possibility of invisibility. Science inspired in part by superheroes could pave the way to incredible findings that could change society for the better. It’s time to think super!
