Galway: Mass Tree Planting to Help in the war against Climate Change

As part of the Galway Science and Technology Festival, we received 3,000 trees – 2,000 trees from Coillte Ireland and we received 1,000 trees sponsored by Aerogen.

Schools are being called on to collect trees from Dangan Nurseries on the week commencing Monday 18th November and plant them on school grounds or in the local community.

Galway City Council have allocated space in Terryland Forest Park and next Sunday, 17th November from 9.30am to 12.30pm we are asking the people of Galway to come along and help us plant 2,000 native Irish trees all in the name of Climate Action.

Many of the trees that are planted on the day will hopefully be still there in hundreds of years, still sustaining life on the planet

Share With Friends and encourage them to come along.
