The Outdoor Classroom – Terryland Forest Park

Saturday 19th November 12pm 

A practical demonstration of ploughing a field with a horse and the scientific benefits that it brings to farming.Scientists from NUI Galway will also demonstrate the benefits of Citizens’ Science  by showing how to use a smart mobile device to record biodiversity at a local level in order to help  provide an insight into the state of Nature across Ireland.

Mentors will be drawn from the Galway Field Studies Centre, NUI Galway and the Conservation Volunteers.

Location: Terryland Forest Park (behind Lus Leana, Headford Road)


Wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear.
