Galway Science & Technology Festival

The partnership between the Galway Education Centre and Medtronic continues to flourish to the benefit of many schools throughout Galway city and county.

In addition to main sponsorship of the Galway Science & Technology Festival, two other very important initiatives are ongoing. The Scientist of the Future programme, in its fifth year, is a mentoring scheme involving volunteers from Medtronic Galway working with primary school children in a multidisciplinary approach to the circulatory and digestive systems.
The Healthy Living Programme involves the education of children and their parents on the science of living a healthy life and making healthy choices, through food science and the examination of various exercise regimes.
